Tea Room note card with envelope
Today’s post is a sweet card that any friend would love to get, especially as the colder weather approaches.
Cardstock dimensions:
- 5 1/2 x 81/2 Coastal Cabana
- 1 x 5 1/2 Vellum Cardstock
- 1 x 5 1/2 Calypso Coral
- 4 x 2 1/2 Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) Tea Room
- Adhere 4 x 2 1/2 DSP to front of card as shown above. If Directional paper is used, make sure that the direction is correct. So cut 1 strip 2 1/2 inches from top to bottom with the DSP in top to bottom direction.
- Adhere 1 inch strip of Calypso Coral
- Stamp “Warmed with Love” sentiment in Calypso Coral, centered in the square made by the DSP and 1 inch strip. I use the Stamparatus for almost all my stamping to make sure placement and ink are perfect! (for a video on how the Stamparatus works, follow this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSCoGyNLNd4
- Adhere vellum cardstock
- Form then adhere bow using 3 mini glue dots (you may have to roll them a bit, so they don’t show. I use my piercing tool to add the dots and for placing the bow.
- Cut inside liner using the thinlet in Beautiful Layers using either the same or by using the reverse side of the same DSP as I did here.
- Insert a tea bag that smells delicious and give it to a friend.
