These cards feature the Stamp set “Making Christmas Bright”. It has great little graphics and some very nice sentiments. Combining the stamps onto one card was lots of fun. My next post will be a small 3 x 3 note card also using this set. Today’s card uses Whisper White cardstock cut 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded in half and a piece 3 1/2 x 4 3/4. A Basic Black c/s measuring 4 x 5 1/4 and either a Real Red or a Daffodil Delight piece measuring 3 3/4 x 5.
- Stamp the sentiment in upper left corner with Versa Mark and emboss with Gold Stampin’ emboss powder.
- Stamp curved wire line in Memento’s tuxedo black.
- Stamp multi color or same color light bulbs. (I used Blueberry Bushel, Real Read, Garden Green, and Daffodil Delight)
- Stamp Gray Granite metal tops to the bulbs. I used a permanent fine line marker to draw a straight line to connect the two and then made a bow on top. (This is not really necessary)
- Color with Wink of Stella over the top of the stamped bulb. Be sure to clean brush tip after every color change and do not color over words as this will “drag” the ink into the white words.
