OK, it’s time for confessions….I’ll go first. I have have lots and lots of pretty paper. I have such a hard time cutting it up. But I’ve come to the conclusion that this is NOT a good strategy. Lets face it, we don’t pull out all that pretty paper and look at it every day. But it piles up if we don’t use it. So I’m going to show you how to cut up that paper!
We’ll start with 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (DSP). I’m posting how to cut up the DSP paper first and then how to cut up a complimentary color 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock. I also included how to cut your base cardstock for other than cutting the paper in half and folding it.
Base DSP for 3 x 3 cardsComplementary colored cardstock
Of course, to get the regular A2 card, cut your base cardstock (usually whisper White or Very Vanilla) by cutting it in half. The most common is to cut it at 5 1/2 on the 11 inch side. If you want a top folding card, cut it at 4 1/4 along the 8 1/2 side.
Here is another color set using the same diagrams
Check back in the next week or so. I’m attempting to learn how to shoot and edit video. And of course check back for my Silly Sunday Posts
Addendum: I’ve uploaded my first video. Let me know if there is anything you’d like to see. And let me know if you like the video 6 x 6 DSP
