This post is a follow up or a continued project from last weeks blog. The note cards that we made will fit perfectly into this little box. Depending on the design of the card, you can fit 4-6 cards with envelopes.
Measurements:
- Start with C/S 8 1/2 by 11
- Score on 8 1/2 inch side at 5/8, 1 5/8, 6 7/8, 7 7/8
- Score on the 11 side at 2 5/8, 3 5/8, 7 3/8, 8 3/8
- Then make a tick mark at 1 inch and 4 1/4 inch.
- This is for free-form cutting the 45 degree angles.
Cut DSP: BE CAREFUL the directional patterns matter. Make the Vertical pattern along the longest length
- 4 3/4 by 2 1/4
- 5 3 1/2
See the diagram below for cutting and then watch my video if you need help folding and assembling, Or download the PDF file here: Small note card box
Here is the video Note Card Box
- I used my Stamparatus to put the words and the rose together.
- Next, I colored them in with my Stampin Blends markers and applied the Heart Epoxy Droplets after coloring them with my Stampin Blends.
- I cut the first Whisper White layer out with our Stitched Shapes dies then I used the Coastal Cabana cut from the Layering Circles die set
- I used some ribbon that isn’t available anymore, but you can find something to match I’m sure.
- Popped them up with our dimensionals.
- Remember, they are alcohol markers so the color won’t come off. I’m happy to report that they will be in the new catalog that is effective June 4th. Let me know if you want a physical catalog by emailing me your complete address to Jan@StampMeSilly.com.

I’m so sorry to hear about your hip…hope all is going well for you now. If I had known, I wouldn’t have bothered you with that email…such a minor thing compared to what you’ve got going on. Thank you anyway. Whenever you’re up to it.
I can’t seem to find the video for assembling this box.
I’m so sorry. I tried uploading it and it just was giving me fits. I ran out of time as I had a hip replaced On May 9th. I’m up and running now, so I will record it again tomorrow and upload it. Thanks for following me and giving me the opportunity to correct the issue. Jan
