Sweet Conversation

Hi! Thanks for popping in. I thought I’d put a quick and simple 3 x 3 card from Sweet Conversation. It’s marketed as a Valentine card, and lets face it, it has the conversation hearts. What’s not to love. But, it has lots of potential. First of all, the dies called Sweetheart Dies, have all kinds of uses. It’s little envelope can be used for just about everything and the tag will be handy too. Then the ability to make LOTS of hearts all at the same time makes fun confetti. Just the examples in the catalog (page 8 and 10 of the new mini catalog) and the couple I have here will hopefully inspire some creativity for you.

Here are the dimensions:

Cut Basic White Thick to 6 x 3 and score at 3 Should get 3 in an 8-1/2 x 11
Real Red cut 2-3/4 x 2-3/4
Use the envelope die to create the little envelope. I used one of the small real red heart with a small dimensional to close the envelope.
Cutting the little hearts are done all at once

Stamp a phrase on the large heart ( I chose LUV U and stamped with a real red marker on just the words)
The little hearts are adhered with small dimensionals.

Here is an alternative. You can see how easily you can use the results of the cut little hearts and make a new card.

The only measurement you need for the larger real red scrap is 2-3/4 x 1-7/8. The rest is the heart strip I used for the loose hearts for the first card and the long take. Also stamped the small LUV U first and then cut out the heart.
