Welcome,
I continue to work on ways to come up with using dies without their matching stamp set. I’ve used left over Pierced Bloom die cuts from another project (see my blog) and used them for the InKing Royal Blog Hop. I paired it with Hello Ladybug and then made a second card with a twist you may have seen around different social media sites. First up, here is the card using the Hello Ladybug stamps and punch. So cute together.
I used a sharpie to make the “flight” with little dashes. I have all the measurements and more pics below. BUT FIRST, here’s another card using all the same things just having the “bug” be a little bit different.
This is such a fast card if you have left over die cuts. I always keep my left over die cut pieces in the same “holder” as the dies themselves, or in the matching stamp set. I didn’t purchase the stamp set for this one, so they are tucked in the folder. Here are some more pictures:
The beginning – gather the pieces
Next, arrange the flowers approximately how you want them. I just glued after arranging them, but you can take a picture with your camera if you are afraid you’ll forget how you laid them out, lol. I did, so the final card on the bottom has reversed flowers.
When they are glued down and you have added a few leaves, its time to add the sentiment and the “bug”. Make the flight path or not, it’s just an option.
Thanks for joining me on this blog hop. I’ll first post the directions and the hop links are under that. If you need a demonstrator, want a catalog (new one is almost here) or have questions, just drop me a line at jandufour@yahoo.com. You can shop at my store HERE See you next week!

Stinkin’ cute Lady Bug. I really like this set, but hardly use it. You have inspired me to get it out again.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! Enjoyed the challenge
Such sweet and fun cards, Jan!
Don’t you just love those pierced blooms dies. Such fun to create with and the addition of your ladybug and bumblebee makes it even better.
Thanks Lynn. I had fun with it and isn’t that what it’s all about?
I am a sucker for cards with any kind of critters on them….even bugs! These are absolutely adorable! So creative!
Thanks Pam. I have to say I’ve kind of fallen for these two guys too, lol
Lovely card. Just subscribed to your email.
I am a fellow demonstrator in Delaware
Thanks Lynne. Always love when a fellow demonstrator likes my cards. I appreciate you so much. Please let me know if you have a blog or other social media. Would love to bounce ideas!
Lovely cards Jan! The dies pair perfectly with the bundle.
Thanks Sheryl, isn’t it fun to use up dies you have already cut out? Makes it go so fast. And I love this die set.
I have loved these Pierced Blooms since they were first introduced. I LOVE what you’ve done with them – and I love your ladybug. That bumblebee, though, takes the cake. Such fun!
Thanks Brian. That’s high praise for sure. I bought the dies right away too and use them a lot. Such a scrap buster. I and I have to say, I love the bumblebee, but I can’t take credit as I saw it all over pintrest, lol.
What a fabulous card! Love all the flowers & colors!
Thanks Marilyn. I LOVE color, and while these are more pastel-ish, there is still a bunch of them, lol.
This is such a fun card! The Ladybug’s trail is a perfect addition.
Thanks Jackie. Made an old trick new! So fun to make and to use up scraps
