Today I’m switching it up and doing some alcohol marker coloring. I don’t know why I don’t do it more often, because I like it, but it just isn’t my first go to. Do you do things like that? I think it’s good to look at all your supplies and say, “what haven’t I used lately?”.
Instructions after the video:
Cutting Instructions;
- 4-1/4 x 11 Very Vanilla Thick cardstock, scored at 5-1/2. One sheet will make two cards, so why not make two!
- Crumb Cake cut at 4 x 5-1/4
- Very Vanilla, regular thickness, cut at 3-7/8 x 5-1/8. This is 1/8 less than my normal second layer and is what give the very narrow border of Crumb Cake
- Scrap of Very Vanilla regular, for the punched sentiment
Assembly Instructions:
- Stamp the Girl by the window in the lower left side of the smaller Cardstock piece.
- Also Stamp the sentiment “friendships refresh the Soul from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set.
- Using the edge of the Soft Succulent Alcohol Marker laying flat across the punch out, go around the outer edges. It will bleed a bit into the sentiment, which is what I was looking for. You can also use Soft Succulent regular marker for a narrower border look
- Layer the two ribbons and wrap around the smaller card front. Use glue dots or tape for temporary hold
- Glue the Very Vanilla to the Crumb Cake and then adhere that to the Very Vanilla Card Base
- Color as desired. I explain in the video about how and why I colored it the way I did.
- Pop the sentiment up with dimensionals
- Stamp the sentiment inside the card and you are done!
