Hi All, it’s still pretty hot here in Kentucky, but the evenings are getting cooler, so before you know it, it will be fall. With that in mind, here is the Royal Blog – Leaves with Hello Harvest. Can you feel the nip yet and do you drink Pumpkin anything? I don’t drink coffee, so it’s Pumpkin Spice Bread all the way for me, lol
This card was super simple. I didn’t make multiples for some reason. I will be making more of these I’m sure. Cutting Instructions and Assembly instructions are below. I have links to the products and other cool things happening with Stampin’ Up!
CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Basic White Thick Cardstock cut 51/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4.
- Pale Papaya cut at 4 x 5-1/4
- Rustic Harvest DSP
- One side at 2-1/8 x 5
- The other side is 1-1/2 x 5
- Scraps of Pale Papaya for the sentiment
- Scraps of Basic White for the stamped leaves
See, simple. You can do this with any DSP. What a great way to use coordinating DSP!
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
- Prepare Paper and layer Pale Papa on the Basic White Thick and then add the two strips of DSP
- I colored in some of the leaves on the black and white side with two Ink Pads Cajun Craze and Mellow Moss. I used the blender pen to pick up the ink from the stamp pad. I get the “ink” on the stamp pad by squeezing the closed pad in the middle several times. Open it up and and color away.
- Stamped the Pumpkin in Cajun Craze on Pale Papaya and some leaves in Cajun Craze, Mellow Moss and Soft Suede on Basic White. I used the dies to cut them out.
- I placed the pumpkin and the sentiment with dimensionals in the center and then tucked some of the leaves around them.
That’s it. I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Don’t forget this is a hop. Check out some of my other blog hoppers by clicking on their links below. Bye for now…..Jan

PRODUCT LIST:
Gorgeous, Jan! I love the combination of papers, colors, and leaves. It’s just beautiful!
Thanks so much Sue. I really enjoyed “playing with my papers”, lol.
Love those leaves, and the coloring on the pumpkin,
Thanks Candy, I’m enjoying my exploration of different ways to color!
Absolutely stunning. I love how you used the designer series paper. I love coffee, but not pumpkin spice, although I would eat some pumpkin bread with my reg coffee.
Thanks for the comment, but now I’m hungry for pumpkin bread and I’m watching my weight. I make one of those and eat the whole thing in a couple of days. Gotta wait until at least October, lol.
This is gorgeous Jan! I love the layering on the DSP. Beautifully done and really captures the Fall feeling!
Thanks Pam. I was playing with the paper and it just happened. I love that when it comes together, lol.
Beautiful card! That’s my favorite way to color & I love how your leaves turned out.
Thanks Marilyn, I’m getting better at it, lol.
Beautiful card! I love how you’ve colored these leaves on the Designer Series Paper and from the stamp set. What a great combination of beautiful, leaf-filled images! ♥
Thanks Brian, I had fun making it and plan to use my DAP like this again soon.
I love how you used this set. Great idea with leaves and paper.
Thanks Jackie. I love everything about the fall except the allergies, lol
