Hi everyone, It’s a Royal Blog Hop Time again.
I certainly have lots to be thankful for and it’s a great time of year for me to remember that.
I don’t host Thanksgiving, but I get to go to 3 of them, so I’m making lots of these to give out every where I go. Quick and easy and you can make one on a 6 x 6 piece of paper with a few scraps! Here it is. What can you do with this? I put 2 Dove chocolates inside, but lots of things fit. Starbursts, nuggets and other fun things.
The grateful die cut was a bit large, so I just made it even with the bottom. It looked like it belonged. Stamped with grateful from the Cottage Wreath set.
Now for those hunting fans, I used soft suede for the box with some of the DSP for the sides. I also added the antlers instead but didn’t put the cute face or a red Rudolph nose because that would just be wrong!
Here’s the process in pictures. Remember you can actually, if you try real hard, put 4 of these on a sheet of 8-1/2 x 11 cardstock
I took a 12 x 12 DSP from Rustic Harvest and found it to be tooooooo yellow. So I used a blending brush and Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler to add a little toning down.
Then I cut out the treat box and after stamping the leaves twice, die cut those out also
I colored the leaves in with Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow. Glued them to the half circle that is made with the die cut.
