Hi Everyone,
Before we start the hop !!!! Attention, one day only 15% off EVERYTHING except hostess sets. If you were thinking about it….Just Do It!
Now, on to the real purpose of this blog today!
Welcome back to our monthly Blog Hop with the InKing Royal’s. This month we are definitely doing blue, and what can be bluer than the Countryside Inn Suite. I didn’t use the stamp today, just the DSP and dies. I did use a couple of stamp sets with little stamps but you could use anything you have. I made it a 5 x 7 because I wanted to use all the sizes of frames.
Cutting Instructions:
- Cut thick Basic White 10 x 7 and score at 5
- Night of Navy is 4-1/8 x 5-3/8
- Boho Blue is 4 x 5-1/4
Assembly Instructions:
- First I taped all the layers of the dies into “frames” and cut them from white copy paper twice
- I played around until I felt like I had a good enough arrangement that there was room for small stamps
- I then die cut the DSP frames sticking with dark, not similar, and medium color tones for balance
- I started gluing and then stamped in a couple of the open spots.
This was a fun exercise in using dies without a plan. I really like how it came out. Now I have all the “centers” that I’m going to play with next. It may or may not work, but isn’t that part of the fun?

Very creative. I love it when out of the box inspiration strikes. Great job!
Thanks Renae, I don’t even feel I can take credit, it just sort of happened. But it was FUN!
Wow! Super cute and very creative. I love everything about your beautiful creation!
Thanks Sheryl. I had fun working with the “practice” white die cuts first and choosing the DSP made it even better
So creative! I love these DSP prints and you did something fabulous with them!
Thanks Sue, I needed blue again, so what better choice than this DSP. The rest was a creative accident
I love your clever use if these dies. They nestle into the card so perfectly. Thank you for showcasing such a cool technique. I can’t wait to play with this! (My first comment disappeared so this might be a duplicate if it eventually shows up)
Thanks Pam, I wasn’t really clever until it laid itself out. It was a surprise to me!
This is such a great design with these dies. I love the way they fit so perfectly within the borders. Such a clever way to cut them into links.
Thanks Pam, I had no idea in mind until I cut them out and started playing with them. It was fun!
Oooh! Such a fun design with these dies! Love it! I’m so glad you hopped with us today! ♥
Brian, thanks for inviting me. I did enjoy this bit of puzzle making fun!
This is such a fun, and unique, use of the idea! I really like this look.
Thanks Jackie, I enjoyed the mental exercise. I may try more of this in the future, maybe, lol.
