Hi Everyone,

Before we start the hop !!!! Attention, one day only 15% off EVERYTHING except hostess sets.  If you were thinking about it….Just Do It!

Now, on to the real purpose of this blog today!

Welcome back to our monthly Blog Hop with the InKing Royal’s.  This month we are definitely doing blue, and what can be bluer than the Countryside Inn Suite.  I didn’t use the stamp today, just the DSP and dies.  I did use a couple of stamp sets with little stamps but you could use anything you have.  I made it a 5 x 7 because I wanted to use all the sizes of frames.

Cutting Instructions:

  • Cut thick Basic White 10 x 7 and score at 5
  • Night of Navy is 4-1/8 x 5-3/8
  • Boho Blue is 4 x 5-1/4

Assembly Instructions:

  • First I taped all the layers of the dies into “frames” and cut them from white copy paper twice
  • I played around until I felt like I had a good enough arrangement that there was room for small stamps
  • I then die cut the DSP frames sticking with dark, not similar, and medium color tones for balance
  • I started gluing and then stamped in a couple of the open spots.

This was a fun exercise in using dies without a plan.  I really like how it came out.  Now I have all the “centers” that I’m going to play with next.  It may or may not work, but isn’t that part of the fun?
