Hello and hope you are having a great day. Today’s theme for the Royal blog is Birds and Bees. To continue my series with the Baby Shower card from my last post, I made these little Thank You’s to give to the Mom-to-be so she could send out Thank You’s after the shower. I used Sweet Songbird and ready made Note Cards to make it so easy. I also made her a little box to store them in. I’ll share that next week. Let’s Go!
Royal Blog Hop with Sweet Songbird Thank you-Note Card Size
I used the Stampin’ Up! Note Cards to create 20 cards and envelopes. As always, I’m making multiples. Here we go!
First I placed the note card in my Stamparatus and then just positioned each piece as I went.
I
Then I just stamped away until all the cards were done. No change in color yet
Here they are, or at least some of them, lol
I just added the basket and then the leaves until they were all stamped.
Now changing colors.
I made the bird color one color and then made the words the opposite color. The words came from the Stamp set Plentiful Plants because it just fit so well for the baby shower. But, you could use any sentiment and it would be cute. I used two of the new InColors, Sweet Sorbet and Tahitian Tide I did stamp the little wing on scraps and used the punch to punch them out. Then I glued them on the birdie to give a very simple card a little dimension.
Don’t they look so pretty all laid out!
And voila, they are done. Even with all the color changes and stamping 20 of them, I was done in about 2-1/2 hours. That’s 7-1/2 minutes a piece!
