Welcome! This month’s Royal Blog Hop is about going back to school.
It seems this year, I don’t seem to have the exact stamp I THINK I need. Stampin’ Up! has an Apple stamp set, which is one of the first thing I think of when talking about “school”. But I don’t have that one. Next I think about Kids, traipsing off with all their friends. That’s how I came up with my card today. Using the set By My Side again (see last week’s post HERE).
Cutting Instructions:
- Basic White Thick cardstock cut 7-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 3-3/4
- Granny Apple Green cardstock cut 8-1/4 x 3-1/2
- DSP Design a Daydream cut at 8 x 3-1/4
- Basic White 7-1/2 x 2-3/4
Assembly Instructions:
- Place the regular basic white cardstock inside the stamparatus and place stamps in the order as shown. Stamp with memento Tuxedo Black ink. Turn your clear flap around and set the sentiment in the open spot above the dog. Allow to dry for about 2-3 minutes.
- Color with Alcohol markers. Use any combination you like. I will list the colors I used in the Product list below.
- Complete coloring and don’t forget to use something underneath as you color. Alcohol markers bleed through!
- Mount the finished art onto the DSP and the Granny Apple Green and then onto the slimline card. And you are done! Pair it with one of our slimline envelopes or watch the video where I show you how to make your own HERE!
