So Happy to have your here!
Here is another simple quick sale-a-bration birthday card using the same set as I did last week in the blog hop. These just are so fast and really pretty. This time I mixed it up and used Scalloped Contours dies. Why haven’t I been using these dies. I’m not a real “fancy” type of girl, but oh my gosh, does it make it easy to stand out!
This stamp set and Designer Series Paper are FREE with a $100 order. I use a piece of scrap acetate to move it around on the DSP to figure out what I want to highlight. Then I cut the outer layer with the biggest die in Scalloped Contours and then the smallest for the sentiment. Whether you choose to spotlight anything on the DSP (I colored the bird and branch) or not, it is just so pretty. I have listed supplies and sizes below the card. I really did enjoy making this quick card for my daughter-in-laws birthday. Hope you enjoy making this simple quick sale-a-bration card too.
Supplies Used:
- Basic white thick cut at 4-1/4 and scored at 5-1/2 for a top fold card. You can of course cut it with a side fold if you prefer which would be cutting at 5-1/2 and scoring at 4-1/4
- Pool Party cardstock. Cut one piece with the largest scallop and then one with the smallest scallop
- The basic white insert with the sentiment is 2 x 3/4
- The DSP insert is 4-3/8 x 3-1/8
