Hi Everyone,

I’m back today to show you how easy it is to make a slimeline envelope, with or with out dies.  I made a video, but I also have photos.  This size slimline also fits in a Number 10 business envelope so you could have them ready made and just do a bit of decorating.

Here is the back of the envelope:

And what it looks like closed:

Here is the template Not to scale:

Watch the video and then check out the instructions below.

Instructions:

  • Paper, DSP or cardstock should be cut in landscape at 9-1/2 x 8-1/2.  Most Directional DSP may not work.
  • Score along the 9-1/2 side at 9-1/8.  Rotate 180 degrees and score again at 9-1/8
  • Rotate 90 degrees to along side the 81/2 side.  Score at 3-5/8 and 7-1/2
  • Fold and burnish all score marks
  • Follow template for where to cut off and where to angle cut.  Watch the video for help
  • Glue on turned in flaps and fold up the bottom to adhere to sides.
  • Add decorative color flap is optional as is the frame on the back.
