Hello Everyone! Here is a great gift card holder (see inside pic below and video)
Double Fold or Small card inside a big card!
Inside of the card has a place to write a note and a gift card holder on the left.
I’m making a bunch of these gift cards, cos the kids are just getting older and want them instead of something I buy. So at least I can make the “holder” cute and show them I care to at least get the gift and put it in a cute card.
First I’m going to show you how I cut up my paper when you are making multiples, so you can save as much paper as possible. Then I will also give you the dimensions of just making one card. (See Below) And remember, you can change the paper and make these ahead of time with no sentiment on it so you can use it for anything! This is a picture of the Cutting Instructions. Cutting Instructions for One Gift Card:
Cut from DSP:
- One landscape 4 inches across by 3 inches down
- One landscape 5-1/4 inches across by 4 inches down
- One portrait cut 2-1/4 inches across by 4 inches down
Cut from Main Cardstock color
- Card base 11 x 4-14 scored at 2-1/2 and at 5-1/2 along the 11 inch side
- Scrap for scalloped oval around sentiment
Inside small card base color
- 8-1/2 x 3 scored at 4-1/2 along the 8-1/2 inch side
Basic White Cardstock for insert of Small Card cut at 4 x 3 and scrap for oval sentiment
